Huge American FlagAround six years after nine/eleven America seems to come back to normal life. Looking around not a lot reminds of the devastating catastrophe. You would think that America remembers the death of more than 3.000 civilians in a more outgoing and public fashion. It appeared to me that this isn’t the case. I had a regular work day without an inflicted minute’s silence by the company. However, you’d see American flags at half-mast all over the place. But to be honest that wasn’t surprising to me because you see the flag in every public place in the US.

Nevertheless, it very shocking to know that one of the planes crashed into the Pentagon which is located only around one kilometer from our home. To experience that incident close to you must have been crazy these days. Seeing documentations of this horrifying terrorist attack brings back how you felt that day staring at the TV screen. Somehow, everyone you talk to knows exactly where he/she was that day.
