NovaJUGDuring the last few months I attended some of the Northern Virginia Java User Group meetings. It’s a good opportunity to make professional contacts and to get to know the local community. The talks are mostly performed by prominent people known to the Java community or famous book authors that fly just for the talk. It’s really fun to hear about topic not directly related to the currently working field. Exchanging ideas and technical discussions are always welcome. I’ll continue to go there after weeks. Normally, the meet every two weeks in two different locations. Next weekend I’m also going to be at the No Fluff Just Stuff conference in Reston. I’m really looking forward to some interesting presentations. Probably, I’ll also write something about it on the blog.
